Pocket Thoughts has been receiving tons of submissions, so don't forget to submit and become part of the first issue! Some of you may be confused about what Pocket Thoughts is and what its aim is as well. Pocket Thoughts is a magazine (e-zine if you prefer) that publishes the best work only. There will never be multiple works from one author in a single issue, because we believe that everyone has something to say. This means that best works from the best authors are chosen to represent the excellence that Pocket Thoughts believes is out there.
We also need to clear up another issue. For authors who have been accepted for publication of a particular issue of Pocket Thoughts, there is absolutely no charge. There never will be a charge for authors who are accepted into a particular issue, nor will a charge be applied to anyone who works on a particular issue. For everyone else, there is indeed a $1 fee to download an issue. We have kept the cost low so that everyone will have the chance to enjoy the best work from new and established authors. It must also be understood that the $1 fee will be used for marketing purposes only.
Over time, each issue will improve in quality of submissions and overall look of the magazine itself. We hope to acquire more editors, illustrators, and marketing agents in the future, but, as we have said, this will take time. For now, we are opening our doors to editors. If you are interested in joining the Pocket Thoughts team of editors, please send an email to :

Self realization
My self realization and the need to dig deeper in understanding the dark parts of myself led me to writing poetry and lyrics for my music. It made me able to Consciously see these behaviors. I'd write out these parts of myself in a way that seemed fucked up and in need of change. If anybody relates and needs help with the same, I'm providing a subscription to my self healing writings. Thank you everyone. New content will be added consistently.

Quick Update
I've been more than crazy busy. I teach eight classes at a placement facility and am finishing up my Secondary Ed Cert as an Intern. So much more to that, but there really isn't any point in actually boring any of you fine people.
Important Stuff
I've finally finished one of my children's book. You'll see that it's more of a early chapter book than anything else, but it is meant to have pictures. I'm hoping that an agent will eventually like the story enough to take it on, so enjoy it for now. If you have any kids, test this on them an let me know your thoughts! I'm sure it won't scar them all that much. :D And if you a
Info and... [UPDATE]
UPDATE: I recently removed some of my poetry to send 'em out for pub. (Unfortunately, none were picked. :shakefish: Which reminds me - anyone have any magazine/zine submission suggestions?) I will now be putting them back up again. Unless I have an overwhelming call to keep a piece in my dA gallery, I will likely be doing this a lot. After all, a guy has gotta continue to get his stuff published, right? So, you can either feel free to be annoyed with me or :glomp: me to death. :D
UPDATE OVER
Hmmmm, what to say? Should I tell you all now or let the anticipation fester and turn into seething frustration that boils over tired hearts?

Devious Journal Entry
Guess what! Because a certain someone was more than kind enough to donate a subscription to me for flyin' friggin' 3 months, I can now you my journal skin again! Isn't ~TheseKrimzonFlames (https://www.deviantart.com/thesekrimzonflames) awesome?!
Speaking of the devil/demon (pun totally intended), he brought up an interesting point via compliment that got me thinking. It's true that I love to write poetry and short stories, along with dabbling in some of the visual arts, but a lot of people seem to find my tutorials useful.
My most recent, Flashbulb Poetry: How to Write , is completely conceptual in essence but practical in technique and...well...practice.

NaPoWriMo Challenge
I've sent this challenge to my friends Facebook, Twitter, and DeviantArt.
My NaPoWriMo challenge: I didn't event think about this 'til now, but I think we can all catch up. (It's a week late, but the posts will be so small it shouldn't be too much of a bother.)
During the month of April, let's celebrate the art of poetry through your clever writing. Every day, post a small piece newly created poetry on your twitter account. With characters at a minimum, this can be moderately challenging since your words will still have to have the desired impact you wish. Even if you don't write much poetry, this is the challenge you need; writing poetry w
