Guess what!  Because a certain someone was more than kind enough to donate a subscription to me for flyin' friggin' 3 months, I can now you my journal skin again!  Isn't :iconthesekrimzonflames: awesome?!

Speaking of the devil/demon (pun totally intended), he brought up an interesting point via compliment that got me thinking.  It's true that I love to write poetry and short stories, along with dabbling in some of the visual arts, but a lot of people seem to find my tutorials useful.

My most recent, Flashbulb Poetry: How to Write , is completely conceptual in essence but practical in technique and...well...practice.

Please, do take a look and let me know what you think.

But the point is that perhaps that is where I'm most needed on here? I've already received my BA from Penn State (WE ARE!) a while back and will finish my certification for secondary ed in the same within a year (I have 5 classes this summer, though - fml).  And I'll have my Masters soon after because I'm already taking some of those classes while completing my certification.

I have to tell you: I love to teach. I've taught martial arts for years. I've guest taught at a private school near my residence. I've taught at a writer's camp. I've hosted workshops, readings, contest, etc. I've edited zines. I've published my work traditionally and non-traditionally.

I love English.  Like a lot of you in this wonderful community. But, like I said, I also love to teach - hence the obvious connection to the teaching and the tutorial-writing.  Now, I love to write essays.  I love to critically analyze things (probably why the girls always end up leaving - lol).

So, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to continue to post some of my poetry and maybe a short story when I get around to it, but I'm definitely going to write some tutorials.

Now, all I need are some suggestions.  Go ahead and leave a comment stating what tutorials you want to see.  And get your peeps (Happy Easter) to respond to this journal too!

Pace.  JLMS

:star:  Continued Challenge

I've sent this challenge to my friends Facebook, Twitter, and DeviantArt.

My NaPoWriMo challenge: I didn't event think about this 'til now, but I think we can all catch up. (It's a week late, but the posts will be so small it shouldn't be too much of a bother.)

During the month of April, let's celebrate the art of poetry through your clever writing. Every day, post a small piece newly created poetry on your twitter account. With characters at a minimum, this can be moderately challenging since your words will still have to have the desired impact you wish. Even if you don't write much poetry, this is the challenge you need; writing poetry will help to broaden your knowledge and create more experiences to draw upon, not to mention the practice you'll get. I've already started, so take a look here:

Twitter Account: Example

Btw, follow me so I can follow your progress! Oh, and go ahead and comment with links to your post so that everyone can see your awesome abilities.

I'm sorry, I know I'm a stranger, but I just wanted to tell you that I've just been here for a few days and already TheKrimzonDemon has helped me in more ways than I can explain! He's been helpful in explaining how things work around, and introduced me to the vast world of the songs categories on DA. Not to mention his writing has just poured out inspiration on my own work, but I don't know if I'll submit it all.

I just wanted to tell you you're not alone in thinking how brilliant he is. I can see just from visiting your page for a shortwhile that the feature he left for you on his journal was well deserved. You seem like a wonderful person!

And hey, I'm Dave. It's great to meet you. :)
